BigBoi’s D-IONIZR water filtration system is designed to make washing easier and without the risk of scarring from water salts.
The first filter is synthetic carbon which is designed to remove water salts. The second filter is a resin filter with a filtration capacity of up to 0 PPM (particles per million).
The system also has a valve that allows the user to choose when to get filtered water or bypass the filters and have the water come directly from the supply. In this way the life cycle of the filters can be extended as they will only filter when necessary such as in rinsing.
The unit has a hardness measurement indicator for the incoming water.
1 standard resin filter yields an estimated 1200 litres on its own, and when combined with the carbon filter this reaches 1440 litres. Of course the performance of the system depends on the hardness of the water and the values quoted are an estimate.
